~ EF Presents: DA1 (Dance As One) 1v1 Popping & 7toSmoke Open-Style Battle ~

Dance As One (DA1) is a jam where multiple styles can come together and exchange their techniques and vibes to enrich the dance scene of Chicago and the Midwest. This is the Electric Funketeers\' first big jam. While our main mission is to build the popping scene in the Midwest, we also want to showcase other styles being that we are a freestyle crew. However this is not your standard all-style battle. EF would like to introduce to you the MILLENNIAL THROWBACK 7-TO-SMOKE where only hip-hop music from the 90s and 2000s will be playing. Given that, we bring to you DANCE AS ONE!

COMPETITION FORMAT & INFORMATION

1v1 Popping

Preliminaries will be done in a battle format. Dancers will be paired up to battle each other. One round, 45 seconds, no decision. After BATTLE (not showcase) preliminaries, judges will choose the TOP 16 that will battle regular tournament style later on.

7-to-Smoke

Preliminaries will be done in a battle format. Dancers will be paired up to battle each other. One round, 45 seconds, no decision. After BATTLE preliminaries, judges will choose the TOP 8 that will battle in the 7-to-smoke.
